The Department of Computer Systems and Technologies is the initiator and coordinator of four European Thematic Networks. As a result of twelve years of work on them, a large consortium working in the field of computer systems and information technologies was formed, which includes more than 75 institutions from 35 European countries.

As a result of the experience gained, in 2018 the department initiated and for four years coordinated the first Eurasian network in the field of innovative educational technologies.
